Ordered ginger beef, chicken fried rice and Singapore noodles through Skip on Christmas Day. The order arrived promptly, was still warm and tasted delicious. Great that they package the ginger beef sauce separately so that it doesn’t get soggy. Will definitely order again!

Has been ordering takeout from this authentic northern Chinese food restaurant for a few weeks. I have to say the fried pork meat “guobaorou” is probably the best in town. The service is always very friendly. Would definitely go again. Highly recommend for some good Northern Chinese dishes! 萨屯最好吃的东北菜

First time at Taunte Maria's. I didn't want fast food or chain restaurants. The place was full, which is a good sign. Had the breakfast special. It was simply wonderful. The breakfast you'd want to have at home but to lazy to make it. Eggs and toast were done perfectly. The bacon was awesome. Thick slices not like other places where you can see through it. Real pan-fried potatoes. AND... a little fruit cup. Cool. Large portions, inexpensive meal, friendly and fast service. A perfect restaurant experience.

Really tasty food and sauces! First time ordering from there and besides a little snafu with skip courier it was really good! The owner or whoever I spoke with on the phone seemed very apologetic! In the end it was still good food and kind service!

Combinations very generous! Owner attentive. Gordie Howe photos. Vintage Ads. Unusual Menu: Chinese ,Mennonite/Ukrainian selections. Attractive signs on building. We shall return !

First time eating there. The gentleman waiting on us was polite and attentive. Food was great and the choices on the menu definitely encourage me to return. I ordered the Maria club and fries and my buddy ordered the open face egg salad sandwich and fries. Fries are homemade and delicious, and the sandwich was tasty and better than a lot of places I've ordered such. Definitely plan to return.
